The Loco Rundown's Music Video Rating System
Thumbs Up: The beat was simple, but effective. It also inspired an energized feeling.
Thumbs Down: However, the beat wasn't attention-grabbing until the lyrics kicked in.
Thumbs Up: The lyrics were like a better version of Lil Dicky lyrics.
Thumbs Down: However, the lyrics combined with the simple beat and poor flow needed to be more complex. Otherwise, everything is too simple across the board.
Thumbs Up: Despite the simple delivery, it was well-done and managed to carry the message and flow throughout the song.
Thumbs Down: The delivery was extremely simple. It sounded like he was just talking into the microphone instead of even trying to rap.
Visual Production Value:
Thumbs Up: The 80's throwback with the hair, outfits, and sports was a nice throwback. There was a really nice mix of club girls and moms, which created diversity among the women you were seeing on the screen.
Thumbs Down: At the same time, it was super boring. There really wasn't much going on that was different or visually appealing.
Production Quality/Over All Mix:
Two Thumbs Up: It was an excellent mix between the vocals and beat and probably the reason the video was an overall success. It complimented the 80's quality camera style. It felt rather Will Smith and Richard Simmons-esque.
